As a purchaser of a "TekREDI" wired home you receive an integrated phone (telecom), television (video), and internet (data) wiring system that allows you to take advantage of current and future technology services. The system is completely upgradeable to include a home computer network, high speed internet sharing, digital satellite and cable, home theater sound, stereo sound for your entire house and security system packages.
Standard Home System
With the base price of your home, the Standard Home System provides a basic voice, data and video infrastructure to supply services to common areas of your home. Included in the Standard Home System are:
Distribution Hub:
- Square D "Multi Link" distribution panel in basement.
- Telecommunication hub for distribution of standard phone lines.
- Video distribution hub for additional TV locations.
Media Gateway:
- Located at the entertainment center in the family room, it provides the wiring needed to access current and future entertainment services.
- Dual video jacks for both incoming and out going distribution of video signals.
Internet Access Point:
- One telephone jack, one video jack and one data jack for distribution of internet services.
- Supports dial up, broadband cable and DSL internet access.
- One point is provided, see standards sheet for location in your model.
Standard Telecom Point:
- A single telephone jack wall plate, allows access to one phone line with a standard phone or lines 1 and 2 when used with a two line phone.
Standard Video Point:
- A single F-type connector wall plate for distribution of standard cable television services.
